About
Love Your Legacy Manager was born out of a survey by the Institute of Legacy Management
(ILM), which found many members often felt under-valued, under-resourced and struggle to
be heard at the top table.
We have over 700 members across more than 400 different charities of all shapes and sizes, and when they told us they weren’t getting the senior support they needed, we knew it was time to take action.
By providing a raft of information and resources, we hope charity leaders will understand more about the role of legacy teams and the incredibly varied and complex work they do.
Over the next 20+ years, legacies will become ever more important as a source of income for charities. By investing in legacy teams now, they charities have the opportunity to help secure their financial future for years to come.
